Department of Tourism: Bursaries for 2023
The Department of Tourism offers Bursary opportunities to South African graduates studying (Diploma/ Degree/ Hons MSc/ M Tech Masters/ PhD) in the below-mentioned fields of study. Bursaries are open only for full-time studies with any accredited institution in South Africa.

- Communication Science
- Journalism
- Public Relations
- Computer Science
- Information Technology (Software Development, Data Warehousing and related, Data Processing)
- Development Studies
- Economics
- Internal Audit (Forensic / IT Audit)
- Risk Management
- Statistics / Data Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Tourism Development / Tourism Management
NB. Successful candidates will sign a bursary contract. The contract will be for the remainder of the study, renewable annually based on academic progress.
