Human Resources Intern
Reference No: HR Intern
Requirements: Degree/ Diploma in: Human Resources
Duties: Ensure adherence to the financial policies and procedures. Effective review and approval of general ledger entries, journal entries, audit files and balance sheet reconciliations. Budget preparation and management. Provide financial advice. Compile accurate and comprehensive financial and donor reports. Liaison with all relevant stakeholders. Effective compliance with donor requirements. Effective self-management.
Intern (Grant Accountant)
Reference No: Intern (Grant Accountant): 09
Requirements: Degree/ Diploma in: BCom Accounting
Duties: Ensure adherence to the financial policies and procedures. Effective review and approval of general ledger entries, journal entries, audit files and balance sheet reconciliations. Marketing Intern
Requirements: Diploma of Degree in Marketing
Duties: Assist in the conducting effective marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness to consumers for the Dis-Chem group. Assist in ensuring that the broadsheets are in line with the business strategy as outlined by line manager (pagination, literals, offers layout and creative). Assist in conducting the briefing and reviewing of all Point of Sale (POS) material (Oval Stands, Roof Posters, Gondola Ends, Shelf Signage, Window Posters, Barrier Sleeves, and additional collateral).
IT Intern
Requirements: Degree/ Diploma in: Computer Science, BSc Information Systems, or relevant IT qualification
Duties: Assist with coding C#, testing, and debugging software with SQL knowledge. Knowledge of mobile apps and basic test automation frameworks (huge advantage). Analyse, diagnose and resolve IT errors. Involvement in ad-hoc tasks/project. Collaborate with cross-functional team members within and across business units. Post implementation production support (after care). Record and track IT security incidents, including but not limited to copyright violations, compromised accounts, e-mail threats, and abuse reports from various sources. Continuous on-the-job coaching, training, and mentoring
Admin Intern
Requirements: Degree/ Diploma in: Administration
Duties: Document management processes: scanning, filing, and printing. Financial support processes. Data capturing. Compiling of stats. Correspondence and IT related support processes. Adhoc operations support requests.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- High level of integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion, work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Must have a high level of customer service orientation and ability to adapt in a consistent changing environment.
