Job Description
Over the course of each project, you will collaborate with client team members with the following areas but not limited to:
- Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis that underpins recommendations, using data mining, financial modelling, valuation analysis, market research and business intelligence gathering techniques.
- Working with client team members to define problems concisely and generate solutions that meet their needs and add value to their business.
- Consolidating findings from analysis and present comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Developing and present a detailed plan to implement recommended changes, working with clients to address any concerns and ensure seamless execution.
- Contributing to the creation of compelling and visually engaging client presentations, proposals, and reports.
In addition, you will be expected to:
- Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in all activities, acting with integrity and commitment to excellence.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s processes and systems, leveraging insights and ideas to drive positive change.
You will receive training and coaching on how to better:
- Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them.
- Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act.
- Establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations.
- Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner.
- Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values.

- Placements will take place in Gauteng (Johannesburg).
- Youth will be employed on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Requirements:
- Unemployed youth aged between 18 and 29 who meet the definition of “Black People” as defined in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003 as amended by Act 46 of 2013.
- South African citizen with no criminal record.
- No previous participation in a YES program.
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
- Basic skills of research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail.
- Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Sound work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and exceptional client service.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills – an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset.
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English.
