Smith+Nephew has exciting opportunities for suitably qualified South African graduates.  We are looking for talented individuals for Internship Opportunities at our offices in Johannesburg. 

Succesful candidates will undergo 12 months of a formal programme aimed at providing work experience and acquisition of knowledge in their fields of study.

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Customer Service Graduate / Intern

Required Education: Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Similar

Responsibilites: Manage all customer emails and telephone calls within the required response times.Process all customer orders within 24 hours to meet customer’s SLA and expectations. Enter all transactions accurately first time and ensure delivery of product within time frames as stipulated by the customer to meet customer expectations. Ability to prioritize and plan daily workload to meet customer expectations and departmental goals and objectives.Ensure good document management and adherence to all document control regulations. Develop strong relationships with customers and provide positive and professional customer service and support.


Supply Chain Graduate / Intern

Required Education: Supply Chain Degree or Diploma

Responsibilites: Schedule the supply of material/components to meet sales requirements and safety stock levels. Day to day order management and management of stock redistribution. Understand and manage (through escalation where necessary) risks to minimize impact on sales. Utilize the MRP system to ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any disparities as required. Create regular key statistical reports and analysis that is used as key inputs for other functions within the organization.


Human Resources Intern

Required Education: National Diploma or Degree in: Human Resources / Industrial Psychology / Organisational Psychology

Responsibilites: Administer the talent sourcing process+D26:H35. Coordinate Interview and psychometric assessment process . Administer the employment contracting process. Coordinate and administer the job evaluation (JE) process. Administer the new employee orientation and onboarding process. Collate payroll input documentation for new and existing employees. Administer and guide managers on the exiting employee offboarding process
