merSETA in conjunction with the Limpopo Office of the Premier and Sekhukhune TVET College are offering Apprenticeships opportunities for the local unemployed youth.

Applicants are invited to apply for the following field of study:

Electrical Apprenticeship

Minimum Requirements

  • Technical High school Grade 12 and pure mathematics
  • NCV L4: Electrical Infrastructure Construction (21 Subject Completed)
  • N6 Electrical Engineering (N2 Electrical Trade Theory, N3 Electro Technology)

Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship

Minimum Requirements

  • NCV L4: Engineering Related Design (21 Subject Completed) with Automotive Repairs and Mathematics vocational subject.
  • N6: Mechanical Engineering (N2 Motor and OR / N3 Mechanotechnology)

Motor Mechanic Apprenticeship

Minimum Requirements

  • NCV L4: Engineering Related Design (21 Subject Completed) with Automotive Repairs and Maintenance vocational subject
  • N6: Mechanical Engineering (N2 Motor and OR / N3 Mechanotechnology)

Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship

Minimum Requirements

  • NCV L4: Engineering Related Design (21 Subject Completed) with Fitter vocational subject
  • N6: Mechanical Engineering (N2 Fitting Trade Theory and OR / N3 Mechanotechnology)

Welder Apprenticeship

Minimum Requirements

  • NCV L4: Engineering Related Design (21 Subject Completed) with Fabrication vocational subject
  • N6: Mechanical Engineering (N2 Platter Theory and OR / N2 Welder Trade Theory / N3 Mechanotechnology)

NOTE:

  • Applicants must be a South African Citizen
  • First preference will be given to applicants who studied at Sekhukhune TVET College
  • Minimum requirements must be met.
  • Applicants must not be more than 35 years of age.
  • All applications will be subjected to an assessment process.
  • Successful candidates will enter into relevant ETQA Agreements and Employment Contracts.
  • Unemployed people with disability are encouraged to apply

How to Apply

Application letter dearly indicating the name of the Apprenticeship, Curriculum Vitae, certified copies of qualifications and ID (not more than 6 months), and proof of residence.
