Sasol: Youth Development Internship Programme 2024

As an intern, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying and analysing valuable information from vast amounts of data to support business decision-making.

Training will be provided to develop your knowledge of the business and industry, specific business units, systems, and technical job-related skills. Plus, you’ll enhance your professional interpersonal skills, including networking, communication, and time management.

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Youth Development Programme (General)

Must have any of the following:

  • BSc Computer Science, 
  • BSc Data Science, 
  • BSc Actuarial Science
  • or equivalent

Youth Development Programme (Machine Learning & Statistics)

BSc Hons or higher in:

  • Computer Science, 
  • Data Science, 
  • Mathematics, 
  • Operations Research, 
  • Statistics,
  • Chemical or Industrial Engineering

Youth Development Programme (Simulation)

Honns/MSC in:

  • Computer Science, 
  • Data Science, 
  • Mathematics,
  • Operations Research, 
  • Statistics
  • Honns/MEng

Learnership: Administration (People living with Disability)

  • Grade 12 (Matric) / High School Diploma or similar
  • Post Matric qualification would be advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to problem-solve creatively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in mathematical and statistical modeling.
