This programme aims to fund academically deserving students who do not have the financial means to study fulltime towards a first undergraduate degree or diploma at a South African public university or university of technology.

What better way to do so than by pursuing an ICT-related qualification at a recognized Higher Education Institution in 2024? If you’re enthusiastic about obtaining or are already on the path to securing an ICT-related qualification and you meet the criteria below: – go ahead and give it a shot.

Requirements:

Applicants meeting the following criteria are eligible to submit their applications:

  • Hold South African citizenship.
  • Have either completed or are in the process of completing Matric.
  • Be enrolled or have secured admission to pursue a Higher Education qualification in one of the following ICT-related fields:
  1. Computer Science
  2. Information Systems
  3. System and Network Administration
  4. Software Engineering
  5. Computer Engineering
  6. Cybersecurity
  7. Information Technology
  • Be studying at or registered with a recognized higher learning institution in South Africa.
  • Maintain a minimum 60% average in the current year of tertiary studies.
  • Attain a minimum 65% average in the current high school year.
  • It doesn’t conclude here. Recipients may apply for additional funding for each subsequent year of study. After successfully completing their studies, scholarship recipients can also apply to participate in our valuable work experience opportunities.

How to Apply

Required Documents:

Outstanding individuals are driven by innovation. If you believe you possess the qualities to secure this bursary, we require the following from you:

  • A compelling letter explaining why you are a deserving candidate.
  • A certified copy of your ID.
  • Your acceptance letter from an accredited tertiary institution, specifying full registration, tuition, examination fees, and the course duration for both first-year and returning students, including qualification and academic year details.
  • A statement of account and a quotation from your institution for returning students.
  • A detailed quotation from the Higher Education Institution for first-year student applicants.
  • Certified copies of Matric results for first-year student applicants.
  • Academic transcripts for the preceding 12 months of study.
  • Proof of disability, if applicable, in the form of a medical or doctor’s letter.
