The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Finance Internship

Location: Netcare Femina, Gauteng

Requirements: Finance Qualification at a recognised learning institution. No work experience required as this is an internship. Candidate must have good computer skills, be computer literate in MS Office. Candidates must display a sound knowledge of finance practices.

Duties: Learn to attend to Debtors books and not limited to: Medical Aid accounts, Private/ foreign account and Exception accounts follow up. Prepare and submit journals for authorisation. Ensure timeous processing of authorised journals. Identify long outstanding accounts and contact patient to arrange for settlement. Support in General management and administration pertaining to outstanding debt as per the Standard Operating Procedure. Review private patient age analysis. Support in the managing of the rejection lists. Support in the management of the baby registration on the medical fund. Assist Credit Control queries for both walk in queries and telephonic. Supported in managing patients in progress and private and internal patients. (International Private Patients, and Private Patients. Review collection of applicable co-payments.


Procurement Internship

Location: Head Office, Sandton

Requirements: A National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6/7) in: Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Procurement. No work experience required.

Duties: Liaise with potential new suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding the accreditation and take-on process. Coordinate the supplier application, accreditation and adoption process. Coordinate catalogue process with supplierand e-Procurement system providers as well as Product and Commodity Managers. Assist Product Specialists in identifying potential catalogue suppliers from the existing approved supplier database. Assist new approved suppliers with cataloguing items approved by Product Specialist/Commodity Manager. Provide suppliers with the list of products to be catalogued as identified by the Product Specialists. Coordinate price changes, product changes and validity dates between Product Specialist, Mymarket.com and Supplier. Assist with catalogue approvals, submissions for price changes and electronic price updates for medical devices. Assist with and have involvement in enquiry processes (Request for Quote, Request for Proposal, Request for Tender, Request for Information). Draft Letters of Intent, Award and Regret. Draft and assist with Service Level Agreements, key performance indicators. Contract monitoring and management. Evaluate quotations and negotiate with suppliers. Supplier relations including performance review, relationship management and contract price negotiations. Assist with keeping supplier documents current and up to date. Assist with registration of suppliers on electronic supplier portal. Collection of BBBEE certificates. Coordinate and assist with Procurement projects as required.

NB.  No work experience is required as these are Internship positions.
