Purpose of the Position
- To gain professional experience on an 18-month divisional rotation Graduate Development Program, designed to develop future leaders in the media & entertainment industry
- To complete all training modules designed for this program and participate in mentorship, coaching and on the job training
- To work closely with managers and colleagues on projects and initiatives as required
- To develop skills that can be applied to specialist areas such as Media& Communications, Digital Marketing, Customer Relations, Brand Management and Marketing
Responsibilities:
On-the job training and delivery
- Participate in structured learning, both formal and informal
- Engage in continuous feedback
- Minute-taking or compiling notes from meetings
- Compile internal communications
- Contribute to documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations as required
- Conduct research
- Contribute to specific projects and initiatives as outlined by Senior Manager
- Request necessary data and information from internal departments for internal and external commications
- Contribute to PR related marketing campaigns
- Media and social media monitoring
- Assist in control of communications workflow traffic
- Liaise and collaborate with Independent Service Providers (ISPs)
Required Education:
Degree level qualification in one of the following specialities:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Media or Communications
- Bachelors Degree in Journalism
- Bachelors Degree in Strategic Brand Communications
- Diploma in Public Relations
- Diploma in Journalism or Media Studies
Additional Requirements:
- Must have No or less than 2 years working experience post studies
- South African citizen by birth/naturalisation or eligible to work in South Africa
- Must be able to demonstrate portfolio of evidence of communications related work
