Milpark Education – Bursary 2023

Milpark Education invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2023 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded for Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at Milpark Education. Milpark Education offers studies via Distance Learning, Distance Learning Online and Online Short Courses, whereby students can complete the following qualifications:

School of Professional Accounting:

  • Advanced Accounting (Bridging Short Course To PGDA / CTA)
  • Postgraduate Diploma In Accounting (PGDA / CTA)

School of Commerce:

Each year, Milpark Education awards a number of bursaries to students based on their academic performance and financial need.

Applications will receive feedback on their application by no later than 31 January 2023.

The final bursary decision will be based on NSC results (for students currently in Matric), however applicants will be shortlisted based on their Grade 11 results.

Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at Milpark Education in 2023
  • You must be studying or intend on studying towards an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification (the bursary does NOT cover Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA/CTA) and Advanced Accounting (Bridging Short Course to PGDA / CTA))
  • You must meet the requirements for your intended course at Milpark Education (check the requirements of courses offered by Milpark Education here)
  • You must have a strong academic record
  • You must be from a previously disadvantaged background
  • You must be in financial need

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Grade 11 final results and Matric most recent results, if currently in Matric (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate/ Certificate/ Degree/ other qualifications completed/ recent academic transcript (certified copy)
  • Recommendation letter from someone suitably qualified and able to comment on your academic ability, your commitment to your studies etc (NOT a family member) (read our article on how to get a how to get a recommendation/ reference letter for your bursary application)
