We are looking for Pulp and Paper In-Service Trainees to join our team. This role will allow a successful candidate to support a high performing team, to learn tissue making process and recycled fibre practices, gain exposure and experience of working in the Manufacturing Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Complete practical work experience log book related to the theory learnt at University
- Operational controls for tissue and Recycled fibre
- Centre lining, TPM and lean principles
- Source material inputs- pulp, waste paper, water, energy and chemical consumption tracking
- Be part of the manufacturing team
- Data and trend analysis
- Simple project to support operational efficiency and understanding of process
Requirements:
- 3rd year student ready to do P1 & P2 (practical requirements)
- Academic results above 70% in their final year whilst maintaining a 60% -65% average or over during the duration of their studies
- Great attention to detail
- Committed team player
- Willingness to learn and results-oriented
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Customer Focus
