iStore: Support Technician Learnership Programme 2024
As a Technical Intern / Learner, you’ll be an integral part of our store’s technical team, working alongside experienced technicians to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, install and troubleshoot software, and provide support to our customers. You’ll get hands-on experience with the latest Apple products and technologies, including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and more.
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You should have a strong passion for technology and a desire to help customers get the most out of their Apple products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers in-store and over the phone
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software
- Install and configure new hardware and software for customers
- Provide support to customers on how to use their Apple products
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and repairs
- Work closely with other members of the technical team to ensure the smooth operation of the store
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 / Matric
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Familiarity with common operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Familiarity with support ticketing systems
