Haw & Inglis (H&I) Construction: Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship Programme 2024
Company: H&I Engineering, a privately owned engineering company specializing in Engineering, Construction, and Infrastructure Development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Grade 12 student in 2023.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must have a minimum of 50% for pure/technical mathematics and physical science.
- Must be willing to take a ‘GAP YEAR’ in 2024.
- Must be willing to relocate within the borders of South Africa for the duration of 2024.
- Must intend to study towards a Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanics.
Sponsorships: Sponsorships are awarded at the completion of the Gap Year Programme based on various factors, including overall site performance during the Gap Year and commitment to a 4-year Internship Contract. Final selections are made by an internal committee.

- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Ezoic.
- Good leadership skills.
