Department of Tourism: Learnership Programme 2023
The Department is currently implementing various training programmes to enhance and upskill the youth to make a meaningful contribution to the economy of the country.Â
This 12-month programme is targeted at unemployed youth to widen employment opportunities in the hospitality and tourism sector.
The following Learnership Opportunities are open for applications:
Food Safety Assurers Skills Programme
Location: KwaZulu-Natal Department of Tourism
Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric with fluency in English or with preferably a Tourism and Hospitality qualification. Applicants should be between the age of 18-35.
Professional Cookery Programme
Location: North West Department of Tourism
Requirements:Â Grade 12 / Matric with fluency in English or with preferably a Tourism and Hospitality qualification. Applicants should be between the age of 18-35.
