The De Beers Benefit Society is offering a 12-month Internship Programme and is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for the opportunity. Here are the key details:

About De Beers Benefit Society:

  • Registered as a restricted medical scheme for De Beers’ South African employees and pensioners.
  • Provides social services such as community groups.
  • Founded in 2000 and self-administered.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in day-to-day medical claims and administration activities.
  • Fulfill duties according to the internship agreements.

Requirements:

To be eligible for the internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizenship.
  • Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (D symbol — 50% or higher) and English (D symbol — 50% or higher).
  • Age between 18 and 35.
  • Currently unemployed.
  • Residing in the Kimbedey area.
  • Available for interviews during December 2023.
  • Able to start the internship on 1 February 2024.
  • Haven’t participated in an internship in the relevant field.
