Cipla SA: Bursary Programme 2024
CIPLA Medpro South Africa Pty (Ltd) is awarding bursaries to students who are studying towards a qualification at an accredited PUBLIC tertiary learning institution. CIPLA bursaries are awarded to academically astute students registering for their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. year of studies in 2024.
The high cost of education in South Africa has been challenging for many students over the past few years. Paired with the lack of critical skills in the country, it is important that CIPLA plays a role in alleviating the crisis by developing the necessary skills among young talent.
Qualification Requirement:
- B. Pharm Regulatory;
- Production specialisation;
- B. Engineering Chemical specialisation,
- BSc in Biochemistry & Microbiology.
- Social Science;
- Economic Management Sciences;
- E-Commerce;
- Health Sciences;
- Business Science;
- Digital Marketing;
- Pharmacy;
- Finance;
- Engineering;
- Industrial Psychology / HRM;
- Computer Science
Bursary Holder Responsibilities
- On Completion of studies, all Cipla Funded students are required to apply to the Cipla Graduate Programme.
- Vacation work – CIPLA funded students may be expected to work at CIPLA during specified vacations. This will be communicated and negotiated in advance with the relevant student.
Selection Criteria
- You must be a SA citizen between the ages of 18 – 28
- Must be able to communicate in English (read, write and speak)
- Achieve a minimum overall aggregate of 70% for the most recent year completed
Please NOTE:
- Continued funding is on condition that the funded student maintains a 70% aggregate for each year. The funding will not automatically be renewed, therefor bursary recipients will have to reapply every year.
- All funding requests for tuition |accommodation |meals | books | laptop must include a recent statement/invoice or quotation as proof of the funding required
