Armscor, the acquisition agency for the South African Department of Defence (DOD), is offering a 24-month fixed-term contract for its Graduate Talent and Development Programme (TDP). The aim of this programme is to provide graduates with educational activities designed to enhance job performance and prepare them for the work environment.

Purpose of the Programme: The TDP seeks to provide graduates with exposure within the working environment to acquire knowledge and skill sets relevant to their respective fields. Armscor is offering training opportunities for graduates with the following qualifications:

  • BEng Mechanical Engineering
  • BSc Biochemistry/Microbiology
  • BSc Eng. Electronics Engineering

About Armscor: Armscor manages strategic capabilities for the Department of Defence, delivering innovative defence solutions efficiently. Its mandate includes providing the armed forces with state-of-the-art defence equipment and solutions, ensuring safety and security for South Africa and its citizens.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • A degree in the mentioned qualifications
  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided

Certified Documents Required:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Academic Transcript or Graduation Letter
  • ID Copy

Applicant Criteria:

  • Only South African citizens will be considered.
  • Applicants must be willing to relocate.
  • Age should not exceed 35 years.
  • Must possess a clear Criminal Record.
  • A monthly remuneration stipend will be provided until the programme concludes.
