If you have already applied to Stellenbosch University (SU), you can check the status of your application by following these steps:
- Go to the SU website (www.sun.ac.za) and click on the “Apply” button at the top right corner of the homepage.
- Scroll down and click on the “Check Application Status” button under the “Apply Online” section.
- You will be redirected to a new page where you will need to enter your student number and password. If you do not have a password, click on the “Forgot Password” link and follow the prompts to reset your password.
- Once you have logged in, you will be able to view the status of your application. The status could be one of the following:

- Provisionally Accepted: This means that you have met the minimum admission requirements for your chosen programme, but your admission is still subject to final approval by the university.
- Accepted: This means that you have been accepted into the programme of your choice and can proceed with registration.
- Rejected: This means that your application has been unsuccessful and you will need to explore other options.
