Requirements: B Degree in:

  • Civil Engineering,
  • Building Science,
  • or Quantity Surveying.

Duties: Monitor construction quantities and quality through site visits. Filing and record keeping of project information and knowledge. Monitor expenditure and budget of appointed project service providers. Update training and experience internship logbook.


Library and Information Services Interns

Requirements: Grade 12 plus tertiary qualification in:

  • Library / Information Technology
  • Public Relations
  • Public Management or equivalent.

Duties: City processes, systems and procedures. Ensure effective service delivery to the public. Customer Focus Service Delivery Internal and External. Compliance issues and other administration related functions.Telephone Etiquette.

Requirements: Must have a Grade 12 certificate

Requirements: Diploma/Degree in:

Dutiies: Customer Information, Queries and Complaints. Administrative Duties. Provision of Customer Relationship Services. Reporting. Financial Duties.


Skills and Competencies:

City of Johannesburg: Internship Programme 2022 / 2023

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Interships will run for a a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months. 

Interns will be required to sign an internship agreement, in additional to an employment contract, committing themselves to full participation in the educational and workplace assignments in accordance with laid-down policies and procedures.
