West Coast District Municipality invites qualifying South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2023 academic year.
Bursary applications are invited from first, second and third-year students for 2022 and 2023
academic year. which will be extended provided that the candidates adhere to the bursary
conditions. This bursary also focusses on current Grade 12 students applying for their first
year of studies in 2023. The bursary is restricted to full-time study at an accredited University
or University of Technology or part-time at Unisa. Preference will be given to individuals from
historically disadvantaged societal groups or individuals with disabilities. Parents/guardians
of the student must reside within the West Coast Municipal Area.
The maximum estimated bursary amount is R50 000 per student for study fees (excluding accommodation or any other items).
Applicants who intend to study for an undergraduate degree (NQF6 / NQF7) or national
diploma (NQF6) in the following fields and whom have been accepted by a University
or University of Technology will be considered:
- Economics
- Supply Chain Management
- Internal Auditing / Risk Management
- Financial Management / Accounting
- Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- Human Resource Management / Development
- Information and Communication Technology
- Public Administration / Management
- Environmental Health Practices
