SA Canegrowers: Internships & Learnership Programme 2024 / 2025
South African Canegrowers is facilitating the recruitment of 10 young South Africans to join a Youth Internship Program on various Sugar Cane Farm’s in KwaZulu-Natal and the Malelane / Komati areas, as a Junior Farm Manager (Successful candidates will be accommodated on the farm.)
The following Internship / Learnership Opportunities are open for applications:
Internship Programme
- Must hold a Diploma / Bachelor of Technology qualification in Science related fields / Agriculture
- Or a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics / Plant Science / Production.
Learnership Programme
- Must have passed Grade 12 / Senior Certificate with a Bachelor Pass
- Must have a minimum of level 5 in Core Mathematics.
NB. A Valid Driver’s License would be advantageous although not essential.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven leadership skills at high school or tertiary level.
- Highly motivated with a passion for agriculture.
