Johannesburg Pikitup: Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Internships 2024 / 2025
Johannesburg Pikitup (SOC) Limited is in the process of establishing a database for students who need WIL to complete their studies. This is also in a quest to address the growing demand by a tertiary institution for students to undergo on-the-job exposure, as a pre-requisite to acquire an academic qualification or as a requirement after qualifying to obtain experiential training.
Fields of study:
The Work Integrated Learning Programme will be offered in the following categories:
- Finance
- Supply Chain Management
- Audit and Risk
- Waste Management
- Landfill
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Communications /Â Marketing
- Human Resources
- Customer Services
- Business Planning and Reporting
- Legal and Compliance
Selection Criteria:
- Must be youth (not older than 35) residing in Johannesburg.
- Must not have participated in a similar programme/s before
- Be a South African citizen
- Applicant must be unemployed
NB. The programme period will not exceed 18 months and students will be invited for interviews as and when the company needs students.
